Homemaker and Companion Services (Non-Medical)
- Household Tasks: Our compassionate home care services include light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
- Meal Preparation: We offer personalized health support through planning and cooking nutritious meals.
- Laundry: Our homemaker and companion services encompass washing, drying, and folding clothes and linens.
- Shopping and Errands: We assist with grocery shopping and other necessary errands.

The first step is to fill out our new patient forms, which include the Client Information Form and the Medical History Form. This helps us understand your needs and create a customized care plan. We also require a Physician's Order if applicable.
We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. Payment for services is due at the time of your appointment. For clients whose insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill or claim form to submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement.
Please note that many plans, particularly HMO plans, do not cover out-of-network services. We recommend checking your specific plan details to understand your out-of-network benefits. PPO and POS plans are more likely to offer out-of-network reimbursement.
We also offer self-pay rates for our services. Please contact us to discuss pricing options, which may be adjusted based on the number of hours required for homemaker or companion services.
Yes, all of our caregivers are fully qualified. A&B Homecare Companion Agency L.L.C. is a licensed home care agency in the state of Florida. We ensure that every caregiver meets the strict standards set by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), including background screenings, health checks, and ongoing training.
We are committed to providing you with compassionate and skilled professionals who are dedicated to your loved one's well-being.
In case of a medical emergency, you should call 911 immediately. Our caregivers are trained to assist in these situations and will follow the protocol established in your care plan.
We are fully compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the regulations of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Your protected health information (PHI) is used and disclosed only for the purposes of treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, as detailed in our Privacy Policy & Notice of Privacy Practices.

We are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with our services. Generally, we do not offer refunds for services that have already been provided. However, if you are not satisfied with the quality of care, we encourage you to contact our office immediately so we can address your concerns. For any pre-paid services or unused hours upon termination of the service agreement, a prorated refund will be issued.
